Career and training

Greater Merseyside Connexions Partnership (GMCP) works with all young people in Halton, Knowsley, LIVERPOOL, St. Helens, Sefton and Wirral aged 13 to 19 or up to the age of 25 for those with special educational needs.

Each year our professionally qualified, competent and friendly staff provides impartial, high quality information, advice and guidance to over 140,000 young people.

Our Connexions Personal Advisers work with young people to help them make the right choices for their future.

Through our Nextstep services we also provide information, advice and guidance to adults.

We have 4 Connexions Centres in Liverpool:

You can see a Connexions Personal Adviser in one of these bright and friendly centres. Each has a well stocked library and free internet access where you can research job and training opportunities, career and course choices or other issues that are of interest or concern to you.

Alternatively our Connexions Personal Advisers work in all schools and colleges in the city and are available at a number of community locations too.

Greater Merseyside Connexions are always keen to find out what young people, their parents and carers and others think of the service we provide and how we can improve.

For details of how GMCP can help and how you can get involved in improving our service see our website www.connexionslive.com or talk to a Connexions Personal Adviser.
