Website feedback so far....

Have your say here

After spending some time on the website, I found it very easy to use, very accessible and very informative.
I say this as it's very clear for everybody. Also I found it very informative, meaning there is lots of info about different topics and then links to topic's individual websites which I thinks very handy.

The page I found most interesting was the safety on the web page, which I feel it's very important to get the rights messages to everyone about using the web and that page does just that.

My overall favourite item, is the fact you can customise the site before you begin. I like this the most as you can alter sizes and colours to fit into a style people are comfortable with.
Keep it up.

I think that the lys website is really easy and fun to use. It has loads of useful and helpful advice like things to do and places to go. It even gives you links to organisations that can help you when you are going through difficult times. And it even gives you advice on how to stay safe on the web. The website also has news about what activities and events are going on in the community.

The new website, enables parents and young people to access information about activities they can become involved with. The level and depth of information now available through LYS new website enables young people to find and rate the activities they attend.

Merseyside Police in Liverpool are piloting an initiative to get the message across to parents and young people about things they can do in their local area.

In advertising the use of Section 30 Dispersal Orders, the details of the new website are added to the many posters and leaflets distributed in and around the area concerned.

This provides a valuable alternative to the many young people concerned and gives police the opportunity to point them towards interesting activities.

The Merseyside Youth Association has been involved with the steering group since its inception.  As a key infrastructure provider for the voluntary youth sector our affiliated groups have all been engaged since the website was launched during the summer. Feedback from our affiliates has been very positive. They are finding the site to be easy to use to register their activities and equally as useful to search for other activities. Our IT drop in service at MYA has also reported that young people are using the service this is testament to the targeted marketing that has taken place.
