Anthony Walker Bursary

Franchessca Noponen has been awarded the Anthony Walker Bursary for her work in the Diversity field.
Franchessca is a first year student at Liverpool John Moores University studying on the Youth and Community Course.
For her work exploring Racisim,sexism and the cross community work beween Croxteth and Norris Green Franchessca has been awarded £3,000 towards the payment of her tuition fees.
Franchessca is delighted with the award and said it will help her emormously just by reducing the amount of her student loan.
She says it will enable her to treat her studies with even more respect knowing that she has the award and that people within the Youth Service will be monitoring her progress.
Liverpool Youth service will be looking to award the next Bursary in November of this year.
Canidiates must be on recognised youth and community degree course, have exemplary attendance and demonstrate the ability to pass the course.
All candidates will be asked to make a presentation about ther work around diversity issues.
