Youth Engagement Team

The Youth Engagement Team is a group of five young people who are employed by Liverpool Youth Service.

Currently the team consists of Melissa Roberts, Michael Salkeld and Ryan Houghton.

The Youth Engagement Team aims to safeguard all children and young people from discrimination in all its forms.

This takes into account their race, gender, sexuality, mental and physical ability.

The Y.E.T researches and develops ways of involving children and young people in the decision making process of the Liverpool City Council, Liverpool Youth Service, and other agencies.

The Y.E.T finds ways to get young people involved and participating in the planning and organising of large events for children and young people.
